Investor Relations Coordinator
Our client, an alternative investment management firm, is seeking an Investor Relations Coordinator to support their Investor Relations team. This group leads all aspects of capital raising, investor relationships, and communication. Our client is looking for a driven team player to join their small, entrepreneurial team. The ideal candidate will be committed and proactive in nature.

POSITION: Investor Relations Coordinator
LOCATION: New York, New York
OFFICE REQUIREMENTS: 5 days in office
HOURS: 9 AM – 5 PM (with light flexibility after hours)
SALARY: $115-120k base + discretionary bonus + excellent benefits (lunch covered Mondays, up to 3 weeks PTO)
BACHELOR'S DEGREE: Required
Responsibilities of the Investor Relations Coordinator:
-Support Head of Investor Relations and team throughout fundraising process for flagship funds and co-investments including meeting scheduling, preparation, investor research, and ad hoc requests as needed
-Spearhead management and maintenance of CRM (Deal Cloud) platform including maintaining contact information, investor commitment updates and meeting / call notes
-Coordinate logistics for investor meetings, roadshows and conferences including international and domestic travel
-Lead planning, organization, and preparation of events such as the Annual Investor Meeting and networking events
-Interact with existing and prospective investors professionally via email and in person when coordinating meetings
-Greet guests and assist with the set up and planning of meetings
-Receive IR-related incoming calls, take and deliver accurate messages
-Complete monthly expense reports and track any follow-ups in a timely manner
-Manage the IR team’s contacts (add and edit contact list)
-Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
-Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
-Additional projects and duties as they arise
Requirements of the Investor Relations Coordinator:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-3+ years of related experience working in an assistant or coordinator role, experience
supporting an Investor Relations team is a strong plus
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and with CRM systems
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
-Positive attitude and “can do” approach
-Proactive and strong work ethic
-Excellent judgement and resourceful attitude, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
-Ability to function well in a high-paced and pressured environment
-Ability to use discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment to handle professional and personal matters
-Ability to work in the New York office five days a week
-Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects forward without close supervision
