Our client, a Soho, NY based Private Equity firm, is looking for receptionist! This role is a highly valued position at the firm with the potential for growth over time. The ideal candidate brings a white-glove hospitality mindset, strong prioritization skills, and full ownership of responsibilities from start to finish. This role joins a highly collaborative administrative team and reports to the Head of Administration.

POSITION: Receptionist
LOCATION: Soho, Manhattan
HOURS: 8am – 5pm (paid lunch and Overtime Eligible)
OFFICE REQUIREMENTS: 5 days in office (light flexibility / remote days around holidays)
COMPENSATION: Up to $70-85k base & overtime eligible + bonus, benefits (medical, dental vision, daily lunch and snacks, gym use, class pass, transit options and more!)
BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED: Preferred
Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
-Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming calls, ensuring a polished, welcoming, and professional experience always
-Greet guests with white-glove service – offer refreshments, manage coats and seating, prepare conference rooms, and notify relevant team members promptly
-Maintain pristine conference rooms and shared spaces before and after meetings to ensure a seamless experience
-Monitor and proactively restock office and pantry supplies; coordinate and submit orders for both team and individual needs
-Manage conference room calendars with precision, ensuring meetings are scheduled efficiently, guests are properly logged into building system and conflicts are addressed in a professional and timely manner
-Prepare thoroughly for meetings (materials, printing/binding, AV setup, catering) to ensure flawless execution
-Complete monthly Firm AMEX expense reports accurately and in a timely manner
-Develop and maintain organizational systems to ensure all responsibilities are tracked, prioritized, and completed efficiently
-Demonstrate high responsiveness, strong judgment, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
-Partner closely with the broader EA team to coordinate meetings, events, and office initiatives
-Operate as a collaborative team player who steps in proactively to support colleagues as needed
Requirements of the Receptionist:
-Exceptional prioritization skills with a guest-first, service-driven mindset
-Ownership mentality – sees tasks through from initiation to completion
-Polished, professional demeanor when interacting with Executives, Advisors, Investors, and external stakeholders
-Proactive, ambitious, and positive attitude with a “no task too big or too small” approach
-Ability to think and act quickly while maintaining discretion and attention to detail
-Proficient with Microsoft Office suite – specifically Outlook
-Experience with Concur or similar expense reporting software preferred
-Positive attitude – no job too big or too small mentality
-Warm, welcoming, direct disposition and proactive in nature
-Verifications of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
