LOCATION: New York, NY (Hybrid: In Office Monday-Thursday; Remote Friday)
HOURS: 9:00am-6:00pm with flexibility outside of working hours
COMPENSATION: $130-175K DOE + Bonus + Benefits
BACHELOR'S DEGREE: Required
Our client, a private equity firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support a Managing Partner, with the potential opportunity to support a larger team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a professional corporate environment, including experience supporting a C-Suite executive or equivalent. This individual must be extremely proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a very busy calendar and complex priorities while exercising excellent judgment and critical thinking.
Responsibilities of the Senior Executive Assistant:
-Proactively manage the very busy calendar of a Managing Partner, with possible opportunity to support a larger team
-Extensive travel arrangements (primarily domestic, but some international)
-Expense reports
-Proficient in Microsoft Applications & Outlook
-Ability to work with all levels of management and administrative team
-Ad-hoc projects at managers discretion
-Schedule meetings
-Handle submitting and tracking Partner and familys insurance claims and reimbursements
-Interface with clients in-person/via phone/email
-Copying/Faxing/Filing
Requirements of the Senior Executive Assistant:
-Four-year college degree is required
-Expectation of ten-plus years experience in a professional setting (finance strongly preferred)
-Experience supporting C-Suite level or equivalent
-Corporate, pleasant, professional demeanor and appearance with excellent communication skills
-Must be a team player who is flexible with willingness to pitch in on all tasks to get the job done
-Positive attitude enthusiastic and energetic
-Ability to multi-task
-Extremely proactive and able to take initiative
-Excellent attention to detail
-Confident/not afraid to ask questions for clarification
-High level of critical thinking
-Solid computer skills
-Desire for long-term permanent position
-Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
