A leading e-commerce platform is hiring a data-driven e-Commerce Vendor General Manager, Latin Foods to launch and scale an ethnic category on their platform category.

This is ownership of strategy, execution, and P&L for a high-growth market segment. You will bring deep cultural fluency in Latino-Caribbean food, paired with strong commercial instincts and experience operating in fast-paced consumer environments.

This role sits at the intersection of category management, vendor partnerships, and go-to-market execution within a leading e-commerce platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the Latino-Caribbean category P&L and drive growth across revenue, margin, market share, and customer acquisition
  • Develop and execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies for new products and categories including pricing, promotions, and launch plans
  • Lead vendor strategy including sourcing, negotiations, contract management, and ongoing supplier performance
  • Curate and scale a culturally relevant product assortment aligned with Latino-Caribbean consumer preferences
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless execution and availability
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of category managers and marketers
  • Analyze consumer behavior, category performance, and market trends to inform strategy and improve retention
  • Identify growth opportunities through data, experimentation, and community insight

Required Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in category management, e-commerce, CPG, or growth roles focused on the Latin American or Latino-Caribbean market
  • Must have experience with e-commerce in food category
  • Proven experience launching or scaling e-commerce for consumer products within the Latino-Caribbean space
  • Background in a CPG startup or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience managing and developing a team of at least 4 direct reports
  • Experience at a top-tier CPG company valuable
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products or categories
  • Strong vendor negotiation skills with hands-on experience managing supplier relationships
  • Fluent in Spanish with deep understanding of Latino-Caribbean culture, food, and consumer behavior
  • Strong analytical mindset with comfort owning P&L and using data to drive decisions
