POSITION: Temporary Receptionist
LOCATION: New York, NY
HOURS: 8am-6pm
Duration: Starting As early as November 3rd as late as November 10th through November 21st
HOURLY COMPENSATION: $20-25 DOE
Bachelor’s Degree: Required
Responsibilities of the Temporary Receptionist:
- Answering incoming calls to the main line, taking messages, passing to assistants
- Greeting guests in a pleasant, professional manner
- Mining the guest registry and making sure certain expected guests are registered with building security
- Managing conference room bookings
- Ordering supplies for the office
- Expense reports
- Providing back-up support to the administrative staff
- Ad hoc projects / errands
Responsibilities of the Temporary Receptionist:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- At least 1 year of office experience preferred or strong internships, ideally in financial services
- A flexible attitude and a team player mentality
- Ability to work independently
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
- Someone who is tactful and handles matters with the utmost discretion
- Take initiative, anticipate needs, adaptable
- An effective, eloquent communicator
- Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
