LOCATION/DAYS: Midtown, Manhattan (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays) AND Greenwich, CT (Wednesdays); Friday OFF
HOURS: 8:15am - 4:30pm
COMPENSATION: $30-40/hour Depending on Experience
BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED: Highly Preferred
Our client, a boutique Hedge fund, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Receptionist/Office Manager to join their team. This candidate will handle reception responsibilities as well as office management support. The ideal candidate will be articulate, professional, and a team player.
Responsibilities of the Temporary Administrative Receptionist/ Office Manager:
- Meet and greet guests
- Liaise with vendors and manage relationships
- Support investor relations with system updates and mailing projects
- Answer telephone and field calls appropriately
- Manage calendars, coordinate travel, prepare itineraries, and file expenses
- Schedule and set up meetings in conference rooms
- Preparation and submission of expenses
- Maintain office supply inventory and managing vendors, operating and maintaining all office equipment, process mail, Federal Express, etc.
- Maintain kitchen and catering, ordering lunches
- Serve as an external and internal liaison
- Ad hoc duties/projects
Requirements of the Temporary Administrative Receptionist/ Office Manager:
- A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Positive can-do attitude
- Proactive and takes initiative, but is a team player
- Effective decision-making with little direction
- Comfortable working in a boutique environment
- Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
