Recruiter
Our client, a high-growth AI Powered Talent Platform, is seeking a Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring across a variety of functions, with a strong focus on building out their Operations organization. POSITION: Recruiter (Full-Cycle; Focus on Operations Hiring)
LOCATION: San Francisco, CA
HOURS: Standard business hours (with flexibility as needed)
OFFICE REQUIREMENTS: Monday – Friday In Office
COMPENSATION: $120-150K DOE + bonus/equity & benefits
BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED: Preferred
Responsibilities of the Recruiter:
-Own full-cycle recruiting (sourcing through close) across multiple functions, with a focus on Operations roles
-Partner directly with General Managers to define hiring needs and implement process improvements
-Build and manage top-of-funnel pipelines using creative sourcing strategies, outbound outreach, and talent intelligence
-Utilize structured interview processes, including calibrated scorecards and work samples
-Track and optimize recruiting metrics (pass-through rates, time-in-stage, source yield) to improve efficiency and outcomes
-Drive best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring speed and quality throughout the hiring process
-Advise hiring managers on interview best practices, leveling, and decision-making
-Contribute to employer branding efforts, including campaigns, referrals, and events
-Represent the firm externally in a highly competitive talent market
-Collaborate on recruiting systems, dashboards, and process automation (e.g., Ashby)
-Support evolution of recruiting strategy as hiring needs shift toward more technical talent
Requirements of the Recruiter:
-Experience as a founding recruiter or within an early-stage/startup environment
-Interest in AI, human data, or emerging technologies
-2–3+ years of technical recruiting experience
-Experience owning full-cycle recruiting across both individual contributor and leadership roles
-Familiarity with a range of functions; exposure to technical recruiting (e.g., SWE/FDE) is a PLUS
-Proven ability to build and scale recruiting processes in fast-paced environments
-Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions
-Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with senior stakeholders
-Comfortable representing a brand and engaging top-tier candidates
-Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Ashby) or ability to quickly learn new systems
-Highly adaptable with the ability to operate in a fast-changing environment
-Strong operational rigor and attention to detail
-Growth-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and evolve
-High ownership mentality with commitment to outcomes
-Low ego, team-first approach with a genuine passion for building best-in-class recruiting functions
