The Reception Manager is the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role goes beyond traditional reception duties by managing the reception team and ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming front-of-house experience. The Reception Manager will oversee daily operations, provide administrative support, and uphold our high standards of customer service and office presentation.

COMPANY: Financial Services Firm 

POSITION: Reception Manager 

LOCATION: Greenwich, CT 

HOURS: 8:00am-5:00pm (in office 5 days)

COMPENSATION: $95k-$105k base DOE plus bonus eligible and benefits 

Responsibilities

  • Greet and host high-profile investors, clients, and senior executives with discretion and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for seamless scheduling, meeting room logistics, and visitor protocols.
  • Uphold the physical presentation of all reception and client-facing areas to reflect our brand and standards.
  • Manage incoming calls, correspondence, and deliveries with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of reception, kitchen and hospitality supplies (e.g., catering, beverages, snacks).
  • Assist with event preparation and support for on-site meetings, investor visits, and special engagements.
  • Ensure compliance with security and confidentiality protocols, including visitor tracking systems.
  • Serve as a liaison between vendors, building management, and facilities teams for reception-related matters.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of front-of-house or administrative experience, preferably in a financial services, investment banking, or private equity environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with high-level stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with visitor management systems such as PRISM.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and resourceful in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting.
