Our client, based in Downtown Manhattan, is seeking a Personal Assistant/ Property Manager to manage daily personal and property-related tasks of a private residence and provide general support to the family. The role is primarily offsite, with in-person presence as needed for vendors, deliveries, and errands.  The ideal candidate is self-sufficient and responsive when in-person support is required. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, requiring excellent organizational skills, strong vendor management, and the ability to coordinate personal, household, and property needs.

Position: Personal Assistant/Property Manager

Schedule: Primarily Remote

Salary: $110k-$130k base DOE plus bonus eligible and great benefits!

Hours: 9am-5pm – with flexibility to work early morning and evenings as needed

 

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Maintain household calendars and scheduling (meetings, doctor appts, etc.).
  • Assist with insurance claims, medical scheduling, and prescription refills.
  • Coordinate annual gratuities for household service providers.
  • Provide basic financial support: tracking expenses, recurring charges, and vendor payments.

Property & Household Management

  • Coordinate home maintenance and repairs, serving as the main point of contact for vendors and contractors.
  • Manage seasonal household needs (window cleaning, extermination, rug cleaning, landscaping, holiday décor).
  • Keep records of completed work, inspections, and warranties for reference.
  • Ensure compliance with NYC property-related rules and inspections.
  • Handle light renovations, furniture upkeep, and deliveries.
  • Oversee trash, recycling, snow/leaf removal, and exterior maintenance.
  • Manage household technology systems (Nest, Ring, AV, printers, Apple devices).
  • Coordinate household needs with current House Manager, when necessary.

Travel Coordination

  • Assist with flight, hotel, and car rental bookings as needed.
  • Keep calendars up to date with travel details.
  • Manage documentation (passports, Global Entry, TSA PreCheck).

Family & Lifestyle Support

  • Assist with event planning, gift purchasing, and entertainment bookings.
  • Help coordinate seasonal activities (holidays, camps, internships).
  • Support errands such as ordering, scheduling, and deliveries. 
  • Mailing and picking up packages (no doorman).

Pet Care

  • Schedule veterinary visits, grooming, and pet-sitting.
  • Track supplies (food, litter, bedding, treats).
  • Coordinate pet-related travel and insurance needs.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in household management, property coordination, or personal assistant roles.
  • Strong organizational and vendor management skills.
  • Comfortable with home technology systems and Apple products.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Discreet and professional with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working around pets (dogs, cats and hamster).
