HOURS: 9:00AM – 5:30PM (5 days in office)
COMPENSATION: $100-125K DOE + benefits
BACHELOR’S DEGREE: Preferred
Our client, a boutique asset management firm, is seeking an Office/Administrative Assistant to support their Midtown office and team of finance professionals. This role supports seamless daily office operations, including occasional assistance with travel, scheduling, and expenses as well as ad-hoc responsibilities such as CRM management. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of office experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, “go getter” attitude.
Responsibilities of the Office Assistant:
• Answer the door and greet guests in a warm, professional manner.
• Keep the reception area, kitchen, and common spaces organized and presentable.
• Coordinate with building management and facilities on office needs.
• Manage supplies, snacks, coffee, and kitchen inventory to ensure everything is stocked.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, including setup and logistics.
• Provide occasional calendar and travel support, particularly for team members who travel frequently.
• Assist the CFO with expense tracking and reporting.
• Help with the setup and maintenance of a CRM system in the future.
• Handle ad hoc office tasks, errands, and general support as needed to keep things running smoothly.
Requirements of the Office Assistant:
• 2-3 years’ experience working in an office setting.
• Must be comfortable in a boutique office environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Proficient in MS Outlook and MS Office Suite
• Proactive, motivated, and “go getter” attitude.
• Experience coordinating travel and scheduling meetings preferred!
• Punctuality is very important.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed.
• Organizational and multi-taking skills are a must.
• Experience with DealCloud preferred!
