Our client, a global asset management firm located in San Francisco, CA is seeking an HR Technology Associate to join their team. The HR Technology Associate will partner with colleagues across Human Resources and Recruiting to deliver evidence-based insights that strengthen people strategies and organizational effectiveness. The role offers a superb opportunity to build and advance their enterprise-wide people analytics and reporting program. Reporting to the Global Head of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, combined with project management, interpersonal, and HR expertise.

POSITION: HR Technology Associate

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA  In the office Monday-Thursday and WFH on Friday

HOURS: 8:00am - 5:00pm with light OT as needed 

SALARY: $100k-$130k base DOE plus bonus eligible 

 

Responsibilities

Analytics Strategy & Insights

  • Partner with HR and Recruiting leadership to shape workforce analytics strategies and capabilities.
  • Advise on key HR and Recruiting metrics and benchmarks, incorporating external trends.
  • Translate data into actionable insights, producing leader-quality ready narratives, quarterly business reviews, and talking points.

Reporting & Visualization

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visualizations.
  • Deliver recurring and ad-hoc reports on headcount, turnover, and other KPIs.
  • Automate reporting processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Systems & Technical Expertise

  • Serve as the primary administrator for UKG and Greenhouse, overseeing system configuration, integrations, security role management, and upgrades.
  • Optimize HRIS functionality to meet business needs, streamline processes, and enhance automation.
  • Collaborate with HR, Recruiting, and IT to ensure systems support organizational objectives.

Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance policies.
  • Conduct audits and quality checks to safeguard sensitive employee information.
  • Document processes to maintain reporting consistency and transparency.

Enablement & Knowledge Sharing

  • Train HR and Recruiting colleagues on dashboards, reporting tools, and systems usage.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HR Analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience in HR analytics, reporting, or HRIS administration.
  • Demonstrated success advising HR/Recruiting leaders through data insights and storytelling.
  • Strong experience in HRIS/ATS systems (UKG/Greenhouse preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with visualization tools (IBM Cognos and/or Power BI preferred).
  • Proven ability to automate reporting and streamline analytics workflows.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior leadership experience in HR technology implementations highly preferred
