Finance Associate

Global multi-strategy hedge fund manager seeks Finance Associate.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the internal and external reporting processes for the US entity, while also assisting colleagues in the Finance team in the other regions.
• Working closely with the Tax team to ensure that all local filing requirements are met.
• Working closely with the Legal & Compliance team to ensure we are complying with all local regulatory requirements.
• Acting as the Finance team’s local representative for any local projects.
• Assisting the Associate Finance Director with financial management and reporting oversight.
• Driving automation and optimization of existing processes.
• Acting as the team’s liaison “on the ground” when dealing with the 100+ individuals that work in their US offices.
• Other ad-hoc projects, as required.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience within the investment management industry, ideally hedge funds.
• CPA qualification (or international equivalent) preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Quick decision-making skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated, self-sufficient, discrete.
• Excellent communication skills.
