Director, e-Commerce ERP Partnerships
LocationSan Francisco or NYC (Relocation Supported)
Base Salary Range$180000-$250000-per Year
Contract TypeFull-Time
Job Reference42203
TitleDirector, e-Commerce ERP Partnerships
Founding Role | In-Office | San Francisco or NYC (Relocation Supported) | Reports to CEO
The Opportunity
We are working with an early-stage, agentic AI company building technology that sits at the center of how modern e-commerce businesses operate. The platform integrates directly into ERP systems and commerce infrastructure to automate core operational workflows including finance, inventory, fulfillment, and analytics so merchants run faster, leaner, and more profitably.
This is a founding partnerships role for someone who wants to design the motion, not inherit it. You will own how the company partners with ERP, POS, payments, loyalty, marketplaces, and storefront platforms, turning integrations into durable distribution and measurable revenue.
What You Will Do
- Design and own the ERP-led partnerships strategy from zero to scale, embedding the platform into the core operating stack of e-commerce brands.
- Identify, structure, and close high-leverage partnerships across ERP, POS, payments, loyalty, marketplaces, and storefront ecosystems.
- Deploy technology alongside partners to power storefronts end to end, integrating ERP systems that run finance, inventory, supply chain, fulfillment, and performance analytics.
- Build commercially aligned incentive models that unlock repeatable distribution, data access, and revenue influence rather than one-off integrations.
- Lead the full partnership lifecycle including sourcing, executive engagement, deal negotiation, integration planning, launch, and post-launch optimization.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and implementation to ensure integrations are scalable, sticky, and revenue generating.
- Own partner-sourced pipeline performance with clear accountability for conversion rates, deal velocity, and revenue impact.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to partner leadership teams, shaping how AI-enabled operations become a competitive advantage for their merchant base.
- Operate as a founding leader in-office, reporting directly to the CEO, with direct influence on go-to-market strategy and company direction.
Required Experience
- 5 or more years in technical partnerships, business development, or strategic consulting with a track record of closing complex e-Commerce deals with brick & mortar clients.
- Proven experience turning platform integrations into material revenue with ownership of pipeline, attribution, and ROI.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce operations including ERP systems, payments, POS, loyalty, marketplaces, or storefront technologies.
- Experience designing partner incentive structures that align distribution, economics, and long-term adoption. Background in payments, POS, loyalty, or embedded finance is highly attractive.
- Strong executive presence and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging C-suite stakeholders and influencing commercial outcomes.
- Metrics-driven operator who thinks in terms of win rates, cycle time, payback, and margin impact rather than vanity partnerships.
- High-agency, hands-on leader who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys being in the office, and is energized by building from first principles.
- Industry exposure to ecosystems such as payments, POS, ERP or accounting platforms, or commerce enablement tools is strongly preferred.
