Our client, the leader in content and influencer marketing software is seeking an Account Director to play a key role in growing their SaaS and managed service revenue in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and the western United States. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and outgoing self-starter who is proactive in driving revenue and building a client base while thriving in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Los Angeles, Las Vegas and west coast client and agency community
  • Strong relationships and contacts with key decision makers both client direct and within key agencies
  • Comfortable selling content and ideas.
  • Ability to sell both SaaS solutions and cultivate campaign-based opportunities with the ability to transition one-off campaigns into recurring SaaS license revenue
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, grow and maintain an account list while exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Develop sales strategies, respond to RFPs and generate proposals that meet the objectives of both the client and/or agency
  • Establish and cultivate strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with executive and client management teams to develop strong client facing ideas and solutions
  • Communicate account forecasts to and set sales strategy with CRO and management team
  • Become an expert on the product offering, content and influencer marketing category including competitive set
  • Geographic responsibilities will include Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and the Rocky Mountain states

This Director of Programmatic Sales will be part of our rapidly growing team and will be responsible for growing endemic and non-endemic clients and increase demand programmatically.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strong knowledge and relationships within the programmatic advertising ecosystem – including trade desks, DSPs, agencies, and client direct
  • Develop a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Understand agency, advertiser, data and vendor landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; who are the major players and how they buy
  • Understand and effectively communicate the value proposition, technology, processes, partnerships as it relates to growth of current and prospective client accounts
  • Ideally has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and of the biddable media marketplace —past, present, and future
  • Plans, directs and coordinates sales activities, including management of the sales pipeline
  • Leverages external relationships and personal network to generate sales leads
  • Regularly involved in all phases of the sales lifecycle including: identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring; to contract negotiation and closing
