Our client is looking to add an Analyst to the Investment team. The Analyst will work alongside the senior investment professionals to support all aspects of investment evaluation and the deal process including:
Identifying new investment opportunities sourced from traditional channels (e.g., conferences, demo days, events) and informal networks (e.g. VCs, Entrepreneurs, etc.)
Conducting investment due-diligence in the form of financial modeling, customer interviews, market analysis and competitive benchmarking
Working with portfolio companies as needed
Participation in and contribution to the firm’s investment decisions
Assisting with fund administration, reporting, and ad-hoc projects
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to conduct primary research and deal sourcing, and show the aptitude to assess B2B technology market opportunities. The Analyst will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as he/she demonstrates capability.

4-year bachelor's degree from a top university with outstanding academic performance. Science degree a plus but not required
Minimum of 2 years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or operational company focused in life sciences and / or healthcare
Strong market research, Excel modeling and financial analysis skills
Ability to function at a high level as part of a small team and with intermittent direction
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and exude professionalism as a representative of our firm

Responsible for the leverage loan daily operations of a rapidly growing Middle Market Credit Asset Manager.
-Review Trustee monthly reports and payment waterfalls, which includes cash and position reconciliation
-Build and maintain warehouse/CLO model for hypothetical trade testing
-Manage cash needs across Funds and CLO’s through borrowing base compliance for leveraged facilities
-Provide periodic reports and support of loan records for various business units within the asset manager
-Reconcile outstanding loan and cash discrepancies on a daily basis and ensure accuracy of loan information in third party administrator reporting systems
-Utilize credit agreements and other source documentation to extract relevant data points for loan setup and maintenance in the loan agency system and ensure compliance with the provisions of all loan documentation
