Our client is a a boutique strategy consulting group that focuses exclusively on the telecommunications, media and related technology and investor sectors.

They are seeking a Senior Analyst to be based in Boston or San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Senior Analyst at our client, you will be involved in every aspect of their consulting practice. While the specific role will vary from project to project, responsibilities include:

- Developing novel, data-driven methodologies and owning execution of solving complex client problems
- Conducting primary and secondary research to understand market and technology trends and competitive landscapes; methods include state-of-the-art survey design & analysis and interviews with subject matter experts
- Building a variety of rigorous quantitative tools (leveraging Excel, Tableau, and SQL) to be delivered to (and used by) clients on an on-going basis. This may include:

- Market Sizing: Identify, measure, and quantify marketplace issues and opportunities including market size, share, and growth potential for the client’s business
- Go to Market Plans: Identify, develop, and evaluate strategies based on company objectives, market characteristics, customer demographics, economic conditions, and geographic particularities
- Financial Analyses: Analyze financial statements and annual reports of the client and competitors to inform financial stability and project the best financial course of action to grow the business
- Business Plan Assessments: Create business plans, business cases, and financial models to help the client understand their revenue and profitability, and paths to achieve overall business growth

JOB:

Our client is seeking a Managing Partner to lead the strategy, direction, performance and culture of the Americas consulting practice to deliver profitable growth by harnessing the power of the full portfolio. Ensure the business is continuously evolving to deliver continued success, both in the short-term and in future years, remaining externally focused on the needs of clients. The Managing Partner will also lead by example, actively winning and delivering with key clients as required.

KEY OUTCOMES AND DECISION OWNERSHIP: 
Deliver profitable growth. Ensure the practice grows profitably in line with plan, through maximizing our existing global portfolio, brand, offer, thought leadership and people. Maximize the resources, talent, capabilities of all elements of the consultancy practice to increase impact on clients and grow a larger and more profitable business. Be an advocate of growing the top line by leading pipeline development and ensuring a high level of outbound business development activity across the practice.

Collaboration. Work with the other Practice Head & Country Head to identify and pursue integrated opportunities and synergies as appropriate in the markets and to ensure that total company performance in the market is maximized, with a laser focus on the consulting practice.

Commercial development. Set M&A and partnership priorities in the market and work with relevant stakeholders to grow the business through targeted acquisition and partnership.

Provide leadership and develop talent. Inspire and lead a team of consulting staff responsible for cultivating deep relationships with clients, developing business opportunities and delivering high-impact solutions. Bring in “A Players” who are true experts and who can win business with key clients and create a passionate team committed to success. Oversee a talent and organizational development plan which ensures the practice can fulfill its growth ambitions and maintain an engaged and motivated employee base. Cultivate team growth, people growth, mentorship, and development responsibilities and instill the key commercial metrics and disciplines of an consulting practice.

Lead in Client management. Build upon already-established senior level client relationships as well as develop relationships with potential new clients. Serve as a role model for a “trusted advisor” relationship and provide guidance and leadership to Consulting associates. Partner with peer executives, including regional heads and Partners across offices to drive cross-portfolio opportunities globally. Maintain accountability for all aspects of client engagement: relationship, SOW, execution, deliverables. The Managing Partner will lead the business by example in winning new business and delivering client outcomes and in representing the brand in the market place.

Business impact Materially contribute to the leadership of the market and the Consulting business overall. Contribute as a spokesperson for the broader consulting organization through thought leadership, solution innovation, published articles, whitepapers, and conferences. JOB: Our client is seeking a Director, Global Strategy & Business Development. This person will work closely with the EVP of Global Strategy based in New York, to drive the business strategy to achieve our clients’ revenue and profitability goals and to maintain and enhance its industry leading position. The role requires outstanding leadership skills to work with a high-performing team, combined with exceptional analytical and advisory skills, commercial thinking, corporate M&A skills, the ability to plan, manage and deliver projects independently, excellent communication/influencing skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans and performance improvement projects across the various business units or the global organization

- Provide thought leadership and strategic and operational support to drive revenue growth
- Assist business units in developing their strategy in line with overall business goals, and supporting the development of strategy within that business unit, whilst engaging with cross-functional stakeholders, to provide high-quality, timely analysis and informed recommendations

- Manage multiple concurrent projects, keeping stakeholders updated and timelines on track

- Summarize analysis and recommendations in presentations and papers

Example projects include:

- Assess product and content capabilities and develop prioritized implementation plans to enhance competitive positioning
- Develop a growth strategy for business units by understanding current and potential use cases for its assets and develop a tactical plan to execute
- Analyse a book of business to identify attrition reasons and remediation plans including working with the business unit to implement recommendations
- Evaluate the attractiveness of new markets for our client and develop market entry strategies
- Research and analyse new technology trends and their implications for our client

2. Manage and deliver annual group strategy cycle deliverables supported by junior members of the team
