Our client is looking for a driven, outgoing, and experienced digital advertising sales professional with demonstrated success in developing, managing and growing a high-opportunity territory. This Director of Programmatic Sales will be part of our rapidly growing team and will be responsible for growing endemic and non-endemic clients and increase demand programmatically.
Strong knowledge and relationships within the programmatic advertising ecosystem – including trade desks, DSPs, agencies, and client direct
Develop a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals
Develop and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
Understand agency, advertiser, data and vendor landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; who are the major players and how they buy
Understand and effectively communicate the value proposition, technology, processes, partnerships as it relates to growth of current and prospective client accounts
Ideally has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and of the biddable media marketplace —past, present, and future
Plans, directs and coordinates sales activities, including management of the sales pipeline
Leverages external relationships and personal network to generate sales leads
Regularly involved in all phases of the sales lifecycle including: identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring; to contract negotiation and closing
Proven sales skills in complex deal development, financial structuring, negotiations and closing new and existing clients
Oversee a portfolio of strategic accounts and monitor changes in key metrics, analyze performance trends and deliver on-going reviews of these items to clients

Responsible for maintaining deep relationships on the client and agency side.
Maintain a full understanding of programmatic digital advertising.
Utilize existing ad agency relationships in stated markets and be willing to prospect with purpose and a competitive edge.
